Betty L. Koenders

Betty L. Koenders, resident of Rochester, New York and formerly of Midland, Michigan passed away July 13, 2025 at the age of 93. She was born in Mancelona, Michigan on April 6, 1932 to Raymond and Clara (Baker) Flynn. Betty was a member of Open Door Baptist Church in Churchville, New York and was always a fan of both gardening and crossword puzzles.

Her memory will be cherished by her children, Barry Koenders (Michele), Randy Koenders (Yen); grandchildren, Katrina Koenders, Matthew Koenders, Kevin Koenders; and great grandchild, Mia Koenders. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond John Koenders; her parents, Raymond and Clara Flynn; and her sisters, Bernice, Anna, Maurine, and Marion.

There will be a funeral service for Betty held at 11:00 am on Saturday, July 26, 2025 at Wilson Miller Funeral Home, 4210 N. Saginaw Rd. Midland, MI 48640. Pastor Josh Ewing of Open Door Baptist Church will officiate with a graveside service to follow in Midland Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be on Saturday, July 26, 2025 from 10:30 am until the time of service. Wilson Miller Funeral Home of Midland, Michigan and Leo M. Bean and Son's Funeral Home of Rochester, New York are assisting the family.
