Betty Kehde

Betty Kehde, age 96 of Toledo, Ohio and formerly of Midland died Thursday April 14, 2016 at the Franciscan Care Center in Toledo, Ohio. The daughter of the late Franklin and Bertha (Myers) Newman was born in Filbert, PA on November 16, 1919. On March 20, 1943 she married Howard Kehde in Boston, Massachusetts and he predeceased her on October 5, 2004. Betty moved to Midland from Fresno, CA after the death of her husband. She made her home with her daughter for the past seven years in Toledo, Ohio.
Betty is survived by her daughters Adrienne (Ernie) Van Nalts of Olympia, Washington, Suzanne Kehde of Fresno, California and Colleen (Philip) Owens of Toledo, Ohio; brother Earl (Evelyn) Newman of Carmichael, PA; sister Johnetta Black of Anaheim Hills, California. She is also survived by her grandchildren Matthew Owens, Amy (Bryan) Bell, Adam Owens, Ezekiel (Kim) Owens, Rebecca Owens, Benjamin Owens, Dylan Roelofs, Tait Roelofs; great grandchildren Tessa & Hayley Bell, Ryleigh Owens, Vivian Roelofs and Greer Owens.

Funeral service for Mrs. Kehde will be conducted at 2:00 pm Wednesday, April 20, 2016 from the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home with the Reverend George Baird officiating. Interment will be in Midland City Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 1:00 pm until time of service.
