Betty Lou Griffin

Betty Lou Griffin, age 73 of Saginaw died Thursday, November 4, 2010 at Saginaw St. Mary's hospital. The daughter of the late Levern L. and Margaret A. (Fitz Stephens) Briggs was born on March 25, 1937 in Saginaw where she was raised and educated. Betty married Howard Griffin in August 1959 and he predeceased her on March 29, 1993. Betty was a homemaker and also worked in housekeeping at Lakeside Village where she had resided. She was a member of the Martha Washington O.E.S. in Saginaw and was an avid crafter, working with wood and water colors.

Betty is survived by one son Michael "Mick" (Nola) Griffin of Grayling and one daughter Michelle (Timothy) McLandsborough of Kalamazoo, MI, six grandchildren and one sister Francis Brantiner of Roseville, MI

In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. Interment will be in Roselawn Cemetery, Saginaw
