Betty J. Bennett, age 75 of Midland died at her residence on Thursday, January 16, 2014. The daughter of the late Leslie O. and Edith (Loomis) Randle was born on August 17, 1938 in Clare, MI where she was raised and educated. On December 11, 1954 she married Thomas Bennett and he predeceased her on October 8, 2000. She owned and operated the Bennett's Birch Haven Adult Care Facility in Midland for approximately 20 years. Betty and her husband moved to Sun City West, AZ in 1982 where she was active with the Red Hats, taught water fitness at their health club and was a former member of the Shepherd of Hills U.M.C. in Arizona. Betty moved back to Midland in 2013 and was a member of the Aldersgate United Methodist Church.

Betty is survived by her sons Kenneth (Gaila) Bennett of Midland, Jerry (Cheryl) Bennett of Arizona and daughter Bonny (The Honorable Robert) Fraser of Midland. She was loved and will be missed by her grandchildren Joshua (Heather) Bennett, Kristina Bennett, Shari (Adam) Knauf, Jason (Lori) Bennett, Jeremie (Connie) Mose and Jamie (Sara) Mose; eight great grandchildren, Timothy Mose, Haileigh Mose, Dalton Bennett, Cassiday Bennett, Connor Bennett, Zoe Mose, Kadin Bennett and Zuri Bennett; great great granddaughters Lexie and Mia Grace; dear niece, Jenny (Kevin) Wale; brother William (Esther) Randle, sister Ruth Carey and sister in law Jackie Randle.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by brothers Ralph, Norman, Robert; sister Irene Koontz; and special friend William Meisenheimer.

In accordance to her wishes cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Donations in Betty's memory may be offered to Heartland Hospice, 1426 Straits Dr., Bay City, MI 48706.
