Bethel M. St. Louis, age 86 of Midland, died at her residence on Thursday, January 3, 2013. The daughter of the late Roy and Ethel (Breidinger) Miller was born on June 2, 1926 in Detroit and was raised and educated in Breckenridge, graduating from St. Louis High School in 1943. On September 14, 1946 she married Harold E. St. Louis in Midland. After 50 years of marriage, Harold predeceased her on November 3, 1996. Bethel worked for the Dow Chemical Co. for many years in Data Processing, retiring as a supervisor. Bethel and her husband were members of the Shady Nook Jayco Travel Club and traveled extensively. She was a former member of the Red Hats, enjoyed scrap booking, crafting and in her earlier years loved bowling and golfing.

Bethel is survived by her son, Stanley (Paula) St. Louis of Midland and daughters, Janeene Brady of Midland and Janette (Ronald) Wolfin of Owosso. She will also be missed by her grandchildren, Brian (Heather) Johnson, Chad Johnson, KeriAnne (Colin) Rivera, Michael Brady, Donna St. Louis, Scott St. Louis and 5 great grandchildren. Bethel is also survived by her brothers, Leo (Laura) Miller of Breckenridge, Jerry (Suzanne) Miller of St. Louis, Lynn (Betty) Miller of Breckenridge and her sister Ella (Roy) Edwards of Midland.
In addition to her parents and husband she was predeceased by siblings, Roy Miller Jr., Joy Lytle, Shirley Sterling, Laura Northrup, Doris Grear and infant sister Hazel Miller.

Funeral services for Bethel will be conducted at 1:00 pm Monday, January 7, 2013 from the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home with interment in Homer Twp. Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Sunday from 2 to 5 pm and from noon until time of service on Monday. Memorials may be offered to the Toni & Trish House or Midland Senior Services.
