Beryl B. (Betty) Vlier, age 88 of Midland, passed away Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at Cascades Assisted Living in Midland. The daughter of the late Frederick G. and Beatrice M. (Richardson) Passmore was born on March, 12, 1928 in Plymouth, England. On December 26, 1946, she married Harold E. Vlier in Plymouth, England. He proceeded her in death on November 14, 1980 after 33 years of marriage.
Surviving are her children, Shirley (Rodney) Prior, David (Roberta) Vlier, Sharleen Bailey, and Daniel (Sharon) Vlier; grandchildren, Angela (Joe), Matthew (Amy), Bryon (Megan), Tami (Adam), Malenda, Corey (Ana), Adam (Sarah), Ellen (Rob) and Josh; 17 great-grandchildren and 1 great great-grandchild. In addition to her husband and parents, Betty was preceded in death by her son in-law, Sam Bailey.
Funeral and committal services will take place at 12:00 noon on Friday, December 30, 2016 from the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home. Private interment will be in Midland City Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Memorials in Betty's name may be offer to St. John's Lutheran Church of Midland.
