Bertha A. Johnson

Bertha A. (Grandsen) Johnson, age 92 of Edenville, died early Tuesday, October 05, 2010 at MidMichigan Medical Center.

The daughter of the late William and Margaret (Wells) Grandsen was born September 18, 1918 in Edenville where she was raised and educated.
Bertha married Roger E. Johnson on February 21, 1935 in Harrison. After nearly 70 years of marriage, Roger died December 18, 2004.
Mrs. Johnson worked at the Edenville Post Office for several years.
She was a founding member of the Edenville Mystery Sisters and a member of the Edenville Township Fire Department Auxiliary.

Mrs. Johnson is survived by her sons, Roger (Norma) Johnson of Beaverton and Robert (Sue) Johnson of Edenville; daughter in law, Linda Johnson of Edenville; -7- grandchildren; -7- great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her son Jerry, one brother and three sisters.

Funeral services for Mrs. Johnson will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, October 9, 2010 from the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home with Pastor Patrick Poag of Edenville United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in Old Edenville Township Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm and Saturday from 10:00 am until the time of service.
