Bernice M. Middleton

Bernice M. Middleton, age 85 of Sanford, passed away Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at the Toni & Trish House in Auburn. The daughter of the late Arthur and Armonda (Doruin) Dubay was born September 28, 1932 in Garfield Twp. where she was raised. On September 29, 1951, she married Townsend "Tom" Middleton in Linwood. After over 45 years of marriage, he preceded her in death on January 7, 1997. Bernice enjoyed quilting, gardening and needlepoint.

She is survived by her sons, Greg (Carol) Middleton, Brad (Frances) Middleton all of Durand, and Randy (Therese) Middleton of Big Bend, WI.; daughter Cindy (Julie) Middleton of Surprise, AZ; brother, Virgil (Frieda) Dubay; nine grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her many siblings.

The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 28, 2017 from Our Lady of Grace (St. Agnes) Catholic Church in Sanford with Fr. Dan Fox OFM Cap officiating. The Rite of Committal will follow in St. Agnes Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home on Friday from 4-7 pm and on Saturday from 10:00 am until the time of service. There will be a vigil for the deceased held on Friday at 7:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be offered to the Toni & Trish House.
