Bernard A. Adams, age 78 of Midland, passed away&Saturday morningDecember 19, 2020 at MidMichigan Medical Center. The son of the late Orville and Miriam (Fox) Adams was born in Evansville, Indiana on December 2, 1942. As an infant he and his family moved to Saginaw where he was raised and educated graduating in 1962 from Merrill High School. Bernard went on to serve in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was employed with The Dow Chemical Co. for over 29 and a half years, retiring in 1998. Bernard was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, enjoyed going hunting, camping, working in his garden, family road trips, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.


Surviving is his wife of 52 years, the former Cheryl McGraw of whom he married on June 15, 1968 in Midland; sons, Bart (Loretta) Adams of East Jordan, Darin Adams of Midland; daughters, Karman (Todd) Norris, and Lisa Adams both of Midland; grandchildren, Sierra, Hunter Adams, Kailyn, Kyle Norris, Lucas, Gabrielle Adams, Miracle Adams; sister, Carolyn Mikusko of Zeeland; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Bernard was preceded in death by his brother, Blaine Adams; and sister, Connie Trahan.


Due to the Covid-19 restriction a private service will take place. The service will be livestreamedbeginning at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday December 23, 2020. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to a local food pantry in Bernard's name. Arrangements are under the care of Wilson MILLER Funeral Home.
