Barbara (Timmons) Mullet

Barbara (Timmons) Mullet, 90, passed away on April 30th, 2026, in Bay City, MI. Barbara was born on April 23rd, 1936, to Walter and Leta (Hoggard) Timmons in Midland, MI.

One of the things Barbara cared about most in life was her family. She devoted herself to raising her daughter, Karen, on her own for many years. She later married Huey Larson, and they shared many happy years together before his passing in a workplace fire. Years afterward, she found love again with her husband, Chuck Mullet, and together they owned Club 20 on M-20 during the 1980s. Barbara became a large part of her grandchildren’s lives by helping raise them and being there for them throughout their adult years. She was a deeply selfless person, always willing to give her time and resources to those she loved, even at her own expense.

Barbara worked as a housekeeper and ironed clothes weekly for a nursing home for many years after owning the Club 20 bar. During her later years in life she enjoyed coloring, watching TV, planting flowers and listening to country music, especially Alan Jackson.

She is survived by her grandchildren: Corey Parker, Michael Givens and Kelsey Lee.

Barbara is preceded in death by her daughter Karen (Timmons) Givens, husband Huey Larson, husband Charles Mullet, sister Bonnie (Timmons) Strayer, brother Jack Timmons, and parents Walter and Leta Timmons.

A funeral will be held at Wilson Miller Funeral Home in Midland, MI on Tuesday May 5th, 2026 at 12pm. The family will receive guests from 10am-12pm prior to the service. Barbara will be buried at Midland Memorial Gardens after the funeral in a private ceremony with immediate family. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to Alzheimer's Research.
