Barbara A. Jaskolski

Barbara A. Jaskolski, age 79 of Sanford, died Thursday evening August 4, 2016 at Medilodge in Midland. The daughter of the late Kenneth and Rose (Szurajkowski) Dobozy was born in Wayne, Michigan on May 3, 1937. She was a member of Our Lady of Grace (St. Agnes) Catholic Church, Sanford. Barb was loving and kind and especially enjoyed the company of her children and grandchildren. She had a fun-loving sense of humor, enjoyed playing cards, loved Elvis and watching her game shows. In her early days, she was a creative artist, a bowler and voracious reader of mystery novels.

Surviving is her husband of 59 years Joseph J. Jaskolski of whom she married in 1957 at St. Mary's Church in Wayne; children, Robert (Sandra) Jaskolski of Summit, New Jersey; James Jaskolski of Garden City; Thomas Jaskolski and Richard Jaskolski both of Mendon, Michigan, Charlene (Kevin) Kea of Beaverton; grandchildren, Lauren (Geoff) Marks, Alexandra, Joseph, Taylor, Emma, Paige, Jenifer Kea, Hogan, Jade, Kayla Beilby, Ashley Burtchett, Arron Burtchett; brother, John Dobozy of Wayne; sister, Dorothy Bradke of Coleman; many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents Barb was preceded in death by her brothers, Estes, Tom, Charles and Jake Dobozy.

The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday August 9, 2016 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Sanford with Fr. Dan Fox OFM, Cap officiating. The rite of committal will follow in St. Agnes Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the CHURCH on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
