Barbara A. Hancock

Barbara A. Hancock, age 83 of Midland, passed away Friday October 19, 2018 at Nottingham in Midland. The daughter of the late Robert F. and Nora (DePue) Jacobs was born in Flint, Michigan on March 22, 1935. Barb enjoyed playing Euchre, doing crossword puzzles and being with her grandchildren. She was a member of the V.F. W. Post in Midland for over 60 years and very involved with the Ladies Auxiliary. On February 12, 1952 in Angola, Indiana, Barb married Rillie C.O. Hancock and after 57 years of marriage he died on September 25, 2009.

Surviving is her son, Rillie S. (Karla) Hancock of Saginaw; daughters, Roxine (David) Haskin, Nora (Eddie) Stec all of Midland; 14 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; sister, Roberta Cook; many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband. Barb was preceded in death by sons, Douglas, Donald and William; daughter, Connie; 2 brothers and a sister.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday October 23, 2018 from Wilson MILLER Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Midland Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Family will receive guests at the funeral home on Monday from 4 till 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Memorials may be offered to St. Jude's Children Hospital.
