Joann Ingebrigtson, age 89 of Midland, passed away on Sunday, February 26, 2017 at Kings Daughters Home in Midland. The daughter of the late Wilford and Dorothy (Riddle) Murphy was born in Valparaiso, Indiana on December 16, 1927. On November 28, 1948, Joann married Donald N. Ingebrigtson. He preceded her in death on November 26, 2011, after 63 years of marriage. She received her Associates in nursing from Delta College and went on to work for Mid-Michigan Regional Medical Center. Joann was also the district chairman for Girl Scouts for many years.
Joann is survived by her daughter, Julie Ingebrigtson of Cordova, TN. In addition to her husband and parents, Joann was predeceased by her daughter, Kimberly Hazelton in 2014.
In accordance to her wishes, cremation has taken place and no services are scheduled. Memorials in Joann's name may be offered to the Humane Society of Midland County, 4371 E. Ashman St. Midland MI, 48642. Personal messages of condolence may be left for the family at www.wilson-miller.com
