B. Ray Cone

Ray Cone age 86 of Midland died Monday, December 25, 2017 at Woodland Hospice of Mt. Pleasant. Ray was the youngest of five children born to Earl and Edith (McKeachie) Cone on May 19, 1931. He was pre-deceased by his parents; sisters, Irene (Roy) Bailey, JoAnne (Bob) Dorton; brother, Bill Cone; sister in law, Julia Cone and nephew, Jim.

Ray's vocation was a dedicated Consumers Energy employee and his avocations included downhill skiing and boating.

Left to cherish memory, his smile and his kindness are his big brother, Charles Earl Cone; sister in law, Mary Cone; his long-time friend, Vera Vlassis; as well as several nieces and nephews and their families.

The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at Noon on Saturday, December 30, 2017 from St. Brigid of Kildare Catholic Church with Father Andy Booms officiating. The Rite of Committal will take place in Old Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church on Saturday from 10:00 am until the time of Mass.
