Audrey R. Pomranky

Audrey R. Pomranky, age 84 of Hope died Sunday March 22, 2015. The daughter of the late Edwin and Josephine (Manning) Wood was born on May 1, 1930 in Alma, MI. She married Walter Roy Pomranky on July 29, 1950 in Midland and he predeceased her on August 10, 2006. Audrey was a homemaker busy raising her six children. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Daughters of the Union and was a very active genealogist. She was also a member of the Midland Missionary Church.
Survivors are sons Rodney (Lisa) Pomranky of Hope, Mark (Jane) Pomranky of Rhodes; daughters Phyllis Merriam deceased, Karen Arthur of Midland, Jo (Jerry) Richardson of Coleman, Ellen (Gale) Sandow of Kansas City, Kansas; sisters Ann (Keith) Wing of De Witt, Jane Major deceased.
Grandchildren: Robert Merriam, Kari Wray, Serra Arthur, Jeremiah Sandow, Tandra (Ian) McAlarney, Jennifer Sandow, Bethany Pomranky, Kayla Pomranky, Samantha Pomranky, Erica (Cody) Lanphierd, Mark Pomranky Jr. and Matt Pomranky and also by Great Grandchildren Brittaney Sandow, James Sandow, Keenan McAlarney, Adalynn McAlarney, Parker Wray and Landen Wray.

Funeral service for Mrs. Pomranky will be conducted at 11:00 am Friday March 27, 2015 from the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home with the Reverend Mark Beers officiating. Interment will be in Midland Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 and from 10:00 am until time of service on Friday.
