Audrey June Cummings

Audrey (June) Cummings, born March 13, 1928, went to be with the Lord on July 18, 2019. She was the widow of Dr. Donald G. Cummings who she married on June 2, 1946. June and Don had 65 years of marriage before his death in 2012. They raised five children: Glenn (Amanda) Cummings, David (Wendy) Cummings, Terry (Buck) Butler, Leslie (Daniel) Stolte, and Cheryl (Steve) Hill. They were also blessed with fifteen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. June had one sister and six half sisters and brothers and numerous nieces and nephews.

June was known for her warm smile, generosity, and tireless desire to create things with her hands. Over the years her creative interests evolved. She painted, practiced photography, knitted, created numerous quilts, made braided wool rugs, and covered countless hangers with yarn. She also enjoyed reading and travel vacations.

June and Don demonstrated their love for God to their family and others by supporting numerous missionaries with their time and gifts so that many would be saved. John 3:16, 17.

Cremation has taken place in accordance with June's wishes and the family has held a private memorial luncheon in her honor in lieu of a funeral.
