Arnold J. Werner

Arnold J. Werner, age 88 of Sanford, passed away Friday, December 18, 2020 at his home. The son of the late Walter and Sally (Nowicki) Werner was born August 10, 1932 in Detroit. Arnold was a retired Master Craftsman and a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church in Sanford. He was devoted to his family and loved each and every one of them dearly. On January 14, 1956, Arnold married the former Gloria E. Hamilton at St. Jude's Catholic Church in Detroit. She preceded him in death on December 11, 2020 after sharing nearly 65 years together.

Surviving are his children, Carol Kubinski of Sanford, Dennis Werner of Sanford, and Lisa (Remi) Diesbourg of South Lyon, MI.; grandchildren Aaron (Carrie), Jessica, Dennis (Erin), Jonathan (Sherry), Isabella, Leyna (Brian), Remi (Jessica), Justin (Bethany) and Brittney; and 19 great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents and wife, Arnold was preceded in death by his son, Robert A. Werner; and 15 siblings.
