Arnold R. Fuhrman, age 86 of Midland, was called home by our Lord and Savior on September 24, 2023 surrounded by his loving family. He was born one of four children on March 22, 1937 to the late Anthony and Ellen (Kerr) Fuhrman in Rogers City, MI. Arnold married the former Sally Roznowski on August 9, 1958 and they recently celebrated 65 years of marriage. Together, Arnold and Sally raised their seven children.

Arnold retired from Buick Motors after 30 years of service. After retiring, Arnold and Sally began a second career driving truck across country. He enjoyed driving and was quite mechanically inclined. Arnold was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church (Our Lady of Grace Parish) for many years. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus for several years and served as Grand Knight for two years. Arnold loved to deer hunt in his younger years. Hunting season was a cherished family tradition. He loved to play cards and dice games, usually coming out as the winner. Together, Arnold and Sally never missed watching a game of Detroit Tigers baseball or U of M football.

Arnold is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Sally (Roznowski) Fuhrman; children, Richard (Tracy) Fuhrman, Jeff (Gayle) Fuhrman, Agnes Booth, Angela (Lane) Sherman, Sallie Ann (Stean) Crawford, Rose (Paul) Lynch, Valorie (Greg) Lorenz, and "adopted" son, John Strait; 20 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, 6 step grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren due in the spring. In addition to his parents, Arnold was preceded in death by his siblings, Walt and Anthony Fuhrman, Trudy Fuhrman; son in law, Bill Booth; grandson in-law, Bruce Stacy; and many brothers and sisters in-law.
