Ardieth L. Patrick

Ardieth L. Patrick, age 96 of California, formerly of Florida and Midland, died Wednesday February 25, 2015 at Dominican Hospital in Santa Cruz, California.
Ardieth Louise Patterson Patrick was born April 8, 1918 in Sanford, Michigan to the late Ernest and Thelma (Michaels) King. In 1938 she married Burton E. Patrick in Lansing and he predeceased her in 1992.
Ardieth was a hairdresser by career, an accomplished seamstress, and enjoyed singing in the choir. She toured with her church choir to perform in Ireland and loved teaching Bible studies at the various churches of which she had been a member throughout her life. She also loved to garden. Her foremost desire in life was to be a follower of Jesus Christ and to be a loyal friend.
Ardieth resided with her grandson Sean, his wife Kim and their three children Molly, Nicholas and Josie.
She is survived by her two grandsons, Michael (Regina) Patrick and Sean (Kim) Patrick; great-grandchildren Molly, Nicholas, Josie, Nils and Quinn Patrick, all of California; sisters Betty (Bud) Hullet of Murphy, NC, and Bonnie (Al) Steinke of Midland, MI.
In addition to her parents and husband she was predeceased by her sons Denis and Daniel Patrick; sisters Genevieve Schearer and Dolores Mason Root.
Funeral services will be conducted at Noon on Saturday, March 7, 2015 from the Hope Baptist Church with Reverend Sheldon Schearer officiating. Interment will be in New Hope Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church from 10:00 am until the time of service.
