Anthony L. Katzinger

Anthony L. Katzinger, age 79 of Midland died at his residence on Tuesday, March 29, 2011. The son of the late Anton and Bertha (Forbes) Katzinger was born on August 7, 1931 in Midland where he was raised and educated. On June 10, 1950 he married the former Kathryn Darlene Dunham in Midland.
Anthony worked for the Dow Chemical Co., in the Saran Wrap Division, for many years. He then worked for Midland Taxi, the Arnold Center and for the City of Midland in Parks and recreation, retiring in 1995. He enjoyed bowling, baseball and auto racing.

Anthony is survived by his wife Kathryn and his children; Vicki (Bill) Moore, Susan (Steve) Curley, Brenda (Philip) Sanderson, Becky Minnis, Mark Katzinger, Michael (Laurie) Katzinger, Kurt Ehlers Katzinger, 19 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters Kathryn Davis, Mary Jane (Francis) Rohwetter and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Bertha Mae Stoner.

Visitation will be on Friday, April 1, 2011 from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home. Memorial Funeral Service will be conducted at 1:00 pm Saturday,
April 9, 2011 from Messiah Lutheran Church with Rev. John Langewisch officiating. Memorials may be offered to the family. Personal messages of support may be left for the family at www.wilson-miller.com
