Amber Emily Elmore, age 41 of Midland, passed away on Monday, December 11, 2023 at Chandler Regional Medical Center in Chandler, Arizona. The daughter of Brenda (Senkbeil) and the late Lee Elmore was born in Midland on October 12, 1982. Amber was a graduate of H.H. Dow High School and followed with a post-secondary program until she turned 26 with Lori Hedrick who became one of her closest friends. Amber not only loved her cats but would always make a special point of asking about everyone else's animals. Amber never met a stranger and everywhere we went she knew someone, many her mom never knew but she knew. She was mom's social butterfly. She loved her baby dolls, especially Ashley that she got for her last birthday. Every nurse, doctor, and tech knew Ashley and she never left her side. Amber had many favorites. She liked oldies music and knew the words to them all. Her favorite TV shows were oldies as well which included Alf, Roseanne, Golden Girls, and Home Improvement. Amber was a collector of magazines, cat shirts, and purses and bags. She was comically called Momma's "bag lady". There was not one person who knew Amber who was not touched by her charisma. She was everyone's "sunshine" and loved so much by so many. Every night ended in "Night, night. Don't let the bed bugs bite" and she never, ever failed to say "Luv you".
Surviving is her mother, Brenda Elmore; sister, April Elmore; brother, Ryan (Stacey) Elmore and their children, Emma and Tyler; many aunts, uncles and cousins. In addition to her father, Amber was preceded in death by grandparents, Stanley and Donna Elmore, Herman "Dutch" and Gwendolyn Senkbeil.
