Alice Jean Pomranky

Alice Jean Pomranky, age 83 of Midland, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 28, 2025 at Auburn Fields Assisted Living. She was born to the late Allen and Ruth (Curtis) Campbell on October 10, 1941 in Midland where she was raised and educated. She found joy in playing bingo, dancing, attending fish fries, and visiting the casino.

On September 19, 1970, Alice married David Pomranky in Midland. They shared 39 years together before his death in 2009. She is survived by her sister, Laurel (Ernest) Pomranky, along with many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Alice was preceded in death by her brothers, Douglas Campbell and Allen Campbell Jr.

Alice's funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, March 6, 2025 at the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home, 4210 N. Saginaw Rd. Midland, MI 48640. Her nephew, David Ellsworth, will officiate with burial to be next to her husband in Larkin Township Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday from 10:00 am until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be offered to an organization of one's choice.
