Aletha "Lete" Arnold

Aletha (Lete) Mashue Allen Arnold went to be with the Lord on Monday, August 7, 2017 at Villa at the Bay in Petoskey MI. She was born August 2, 1922 to the late Henry and Mary (Shangle) Mashue, the youngest of nine. She was a member of the Floyd Church of God where she served as Youth Leader and Sunday School Teacher. She married Glenn Allen in June of 1941 and he preceded her in death in May of 1984. She married Norman Arnold in October of 1987 and he preceded her in death in December of 1995. Her grandson, Kenneth Leon Allen also preceded her in death in February of 1969. She retired from Greendale Community Center as a Site Manager. Lete loved music, especially hymns and the Big Band Era.

Aletha is survived by two sons, Gary (Marsha) Allen of Alanson MI, and Kim (MaryAnn) Allen of Mt. Morris; 6 Grandchildren, 11 Great-Grandchildren, and 2 Great-Great-Grandchildren; Step daughters, Ruth Wiesmiller and Judy (John) Zuacha along with Several Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral services for Aletha will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, August 11, 2017 from the Floyd Church of God with Pastor Larry Moe officiating. Family will receive friends at the Wilson MILLER Funeral home on Thursday from 4 until 7 and again on Friday at the church from 10:00 am until the time of service. Private burial will be in Homer Township Cemetery next to her beloved husband Glenn. Memorials in Lete's name may be offered to the Floyd Church of God.
